ARCHIVE 001 is the inaugural issue of an ongoing publication exploring fashion through collecting, photography, and archival research.
Built from the archives of Tanya Ravichandran and 313NEWYORK, this first edition documents collecting through original photography, historical essays, and a selection of garments spanning Alexander McQueen, Maison Martin Margiela, Gucci by Tom Ford, and Ann Demeulemeester. Part publication, part exhibition catalog, ARCHIVE 001 examines the collections, references, and obsessions that shaped two archives assembled independently but connected through a shared appreciation for fashion history.
Across 68 pages, the issue traces the theatrical worlds of Alexander McQueen, the anonymity and deconstruction of Maison Martin Margiela, the dark glamour of Tom Ford's Gucci, and the poetic uniformity of Ann Demeulemeester. Featuring original photography by Tanya Ravichandran throughout, each chapter combines historical context with personal reflections on collecting, preservation, and the garments that continue to influence contemporary fashion.
